I’m not even sure this is a great record, the songs just resonate with me really personally…
It seems easy to slap together some mellow fuzzy samples, but it must not be, because this is the first record to do it as well as Fennesz’s own 2001 Endless Summer.
It’s rare that I want to hear a record 2 or 3 times a day. Simple tunes, brilliant lyrics, zenlike understatement.
